SCOUTS -DON”T FORGET TO SIGN IN ON THE
ATTENDANCE SHEET AND CHECK FOR ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION IN THE FILE ON THE BACK
TABLE AT EVERY MEETING.
2. We are always looking for ideas for new Merit Badges to be presented at our upcoming Troop meetings. If a parent, relative or friend has a special skill, occupation or knowledge about a particular subject that you think the Troop may be interested in please let us know. It’s YOUR Troop!
3. Order your 2nd Class T-shirts and Troop Sweatshirts ASAP! You want them for your upcoming camps!
4. Where are all of our tents? Take care of our equipment, lots of damage as of late. (No older Scouts?)
5. Be respectful and quiet during meetings. No water fountain or bathroom breaks while our guests and/or Troop leaders are speaking. Do your duties before the meeting or wait until a breakout of activity time. We, as Scouts, are not abiding by the Scout Law. Remember the Law and your Code of conduct. Disappointing.
6. We need older Scouts and adults for the Elroy-Sparta campout. Additionally, we need our more of our older Scouts to continue to participate in all of our events (parades, etc.) and camp outings (3rd year and up). We need you to help train our new Scouts your Scout skills. Our participation levels have been declining as far as our older Scouts go. Why? Please explain.
7. For Elroy-Sparta: Patrol Quartermasters $2.50/Scout/Meal =$7.50/Scout MAX for this and all camp outings. For Elroy-Sparta the Troop will provide meals for Friday night and Sunday morning preparation. Patrol meals will be a Cold Breakfast, Sandwich Lunch (to carry in pack) and Hot Supper for Saturday evening. You will need to bring your bicycle (in good working order), your bike helmet (you will not be allowed to participate without one) and YOU MUST BE WEARING A 1ST CLASS UNIFORM DURING TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM ALL SCOUT EVENTS. YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO IF YOU ARE NOT IN YOUR 1ST CLASS UNIFORM. Make sure you bring your 2nd Class uniform for the bike ride. Bring your favorite snack to share for Saturday night Cracker Barrel. WE WILL MEET PROMTLY AT 4:30PM AND LEAVE ASAP FROM THE UMC PARKING LOT. Practice your bicycle riding for distance. Patrols - You are only as strong as your weakest link.
June 12 – Court of Honor. Braden is looking for performers. (None participated last COH-Step-up!)
June 20-22- Elroy-Sparta Bicycle Camp- 50 miler. Meet at UMC parking lot no later than 4:30PM.
June 20 – 4 Volunteers need for Relay for Life Flag Ceremony.
June 26 – Ax yard, Camp Stoves, Fire Starting, Knots. Stations.
July 3rd – NO MEETING
July 10 – Summer Camp preparation meeting.
Upcoming Summer Campouts –July Summer Camp and High Adventure trips, August 15-17 Canoe Camp (Namekagon River), September Webelo Camp, October Kettle Moraine.
