Camp Parsons, on the waters of Washington's Hood Canal, is our Troop's annual summer camp destination. Established in 1919 and one of Chief Seattle Council's premiere camps, Camp Parsons offers not only the unique natural beauty of the Olympic Mountains and the sheltered waters of Hood Canal, but a wonderful opportunity for Scouts to work on advancement skills and a multitude of merit badges. Among the merit badges offered during the weeklong camp session are Swimming, Canoeing, Lifesaving, Small Boat Sailing, and several other water-activity badges. For Troop 125, this is one of the events Scouts most look forward to. In the Fall, we take part in a service project and campout at Parsons.
