4.53 Miles
Registration, Starting and Ending Point:    Antrim's Gregg Lake Town Beach
Registration Time:  9 a.m - 10 a.m.
Hike Begins:  10 a.m.
Terrain:    Very light traffic town roads, gated former road over Holt Hill, seasonal dirt roads.  (some may be muddy--be prepared!)  Two hills, one a 350' rise from starting point.
Ending Point:   Terminates at Gregg Lake Town Beach 11:30 - Noon
Lunch:  Available for a modest cost. Troop 2 hosts a lunch for all hikers (hot dogs, chips, drinks) served at the destination for a donation.

Pick up Time:  Approximately 1 p.m, at the beach.

Gear List:
Water Bottle with 1 qt. of water.  Refills are available along the trail.  

Instructions:   Our theme this year is, "Water, Water Everywhere"  Water stations will have an educational component on water conservation and Troop 2 Scouts will run the program.  

Grand Prizes awarded for:
Boy Scout with the highest number of pledges, 2nd & third place.
One prize for the highest pledges for each Cub Scout rank

How to Get to Gregg Lake

From Hillsboro:  
Follow RT. 202 to the Center of Antrim.   Make a hard right at the Stop sign onto Route 31.  (Baptist Church on your right, Turn left/go Citgo station on left.)  Travel 3 miles on 31 to Gregg Lake Rd (on left, look for Scout logo).  Winds about 2 miles to Antrim Town Beach, about 3/4 mile on left after you reach the lake.

From Keene:
Take Route 9 north toward Concord.  Once you pass the state rest area (on left) start looking for the right turn for Rt. 31 south in Antrim.  Follow Rt. 31 four miles to Gregg Lake Rd.. (on right, look for Scout logo).  Winds around 2 miles to Antrim Town Beach, about 3/4 mile on left after you reach the lake.  
From Peterborough
Take Route 202 north to downtown Antrim.   After passing town hall, take Rt. 31 N at the Rt 202/Rt 31 "Y" .  
Travel 3 miles on 31 to Gregg Lake Rd (on left, look for Scout logo).  Winds about 2 miles to Antrim Town Beach, about 3/4 mile on left after you reach the lake.
