Helping CUB SCOUTS Grow !

  "Arrow of Light" Program

After a Cub Scout has earned the Webelos Scout Badge, he can continue advancing by working on the requirements for the Arrow of Light, which is Cub Scouting's highest award.

The Arrow of Light Award displays an American Indian sign for the sun and, below it, an arrow.  The seven rays of the sun stand for each day of the week.  They remind the Cub Scout to do his best every day as he follows the arrow that leads to Boy Scouting.

The Arrow of Light Award tells everyone that the Cub Scout is ready to be a Boy Scout and it is the only Cub Scout award that can be worn on the official Boy Scout uniform.

Troop 125 sponsors a program to help Webelos Scouts earn the Arrow of Light.  Its simple and free!

Webelos II Scouts are invited to join us at one of our meetings to learn Requirement #2, "Knowledge of Boy Scouting" (see below), which is part of the AOL award.

Our Regular Weekly Troop Meetings are held every Monday night, from 7:30pm until 9:00pm, at the Clarksburg Recreation Building, located in the Clarksburg Neighborhood Park, at 22501 Wims Rd., Clarksburg, MD 20871 (off of Route 355, next to Clarksburg High School).

(For Directions to our meeting place, Click Here.)

To set up a time, contact Scoutmaster Phil Baker at (301) 428-1849 or at PBAKER464@comcast.net
